Have “the gates of Hades” prevailed against the church of Jesus Christ, or do we have a whole lot of compromise, imitations, and iniquity marring the testimony? If we ever hope to let God do all He wants to do in us, and be conformed truly to the image of Jesus Christ in our lifetimes, it is vital we see His model of the local church. Why do we live?
The topic of why we live, or “what is the meaning of life” could fill books, lead to long debate, but let’s settle it in brief with what the Bible says. John said “eternal life is to know God,” and we are called to thus know Him, really, deeply, personally now and into eternity after we die. Can a Christian Never Lose Salvation?
God loves all people, and salvation through Jesus Christ is a free gift, received through faith, not of works, but does that mean it can never be lost?
