This is a Bible study looking at parallels between the Old Testament Jews who did not have the Holy Spirit in their bodies and Christians who claim they do.

The public face of the Christian faith – also known as church history – proves people naming Christ deviated from two of the Lord’s highest effective commands in John 13:34,35 and John 17:20-23.

Jesus Christ tied the keeping of these as that which would provide the world a witness that He, the Almighty God, was surely among His people.

Like the Jews of the Old Testament, those who named Christ have in too many cases relied not solely on the Spirit but deviated from the apostles’ doctrine with their earthly mind.

The ramifications of this are earth shattering including billions over the millennia who died not coming to Christ, the name of Jesus becoming a byword to the many in the world because of unfaithful and disobedient believers, and the eventual coming of the antiChrist.
