How Conservative-Leaning Evangelicalism Is Ironically Christianity’s Liberal Left – Audio Sermon

The branch of Christianity known as Evangelicalism claims 619 million worldwide, and one in four Americans claim they are evangelical.
It is these who are the backbone of the “Religious Right.” This message is devoid of political discussion, however. The “liberal” reference is to theological liberality. Jesus said the test of all who speak for Him is not the most-accepted argument from the Bible but rather the fruit.

From the test Jesus gave, the fruit of the Evangelical gospel has been widely criticized as somehow allowing for a preponderance of Christians less than fully on-fire for God, to put it benignly.
