Salvation By Faith in Jesus Christ – Romans 4 Bible Study
This is a continuation of a Bible study that also comments on the way of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We’ve been walking slowly through Romans, and this adds balance to the doctrine of “justification by faith.” Praise God for justification by faith, and just as certain is those who name the name of Christ need to know the whole counsel of God. Here is the recordings and notes from an overview of the church. Not said in the recording is this is a counterpoint to all the various people out there negating the importance of the body of Christ. Some people have said they want a personal relationship with God, but don’t see the importance of the body. Others go so far as to say it is not necessary in a Christian life. The scriptures do not teach these or other ways of looking at things that minimize or negate the vital importance of a church led and empowered by the Lord by His Spirit. Romans Bible Study – Friday July 21, 2017
Here we jumped into Romans 1:1 after finishing the fifth and final study on the Sermon on the Mount. This study did not go very far, and just edged into the second chapter, as half the time was used up, and we hope in the grace of God to continue from where we left off next time. That said, there was a measure of harmony just the same, and what we began with in Romans fit with some of what we spoke on in Matthew 7 and elsewhere in that study.
