The eternal perspective – and what God really wants – audio sermon
Humans are eternal beings who often live in the paradigm of this world, their cares, and not so mindful of what the Bible teaches is the true reality, or “eternal perspective.” This is sad but not unexpected of those who do not name Christ, but what about those who do say they represent the kingdom of God on earth? Since the Protestant Reformation put on steroids a tendency in the carnal theologians who came before. so many have argued with scripture verses allegedly backing them that they know the way of Christ.

What do you really know? – audio sermon
The Bible is replete with the understanding that true knowledge of the things of God must be shown by God Himself. This work is done by the Holy Spirit who inspired the scriptures and who must open one’s eyes to the accurate portrayal of the scripture’s meaning. In 1 Corinthians 3, the apostle Paul points out that even Christians performing works of the Spirit (the spiritual gifts) can yet be “carnal.” Carnal simply means they are operating from the fleshly side of their makeup, and the Bible teaches we have a “flesh” (the carnal identity) in opposition to a “spirit” (united with Christ (1 Cor. 6:17). Foundational to the gospel are the truths found in Romans 6. The key terms “slave of sin,” and “free” from sin that Jesus promised in John 8 are echoed as indeed accomplished on the cross of Christ. May the Lord bless you!

Sermon On The Mount Part 5 – Friday July 21, 2017
This is a finishing up from Matt 7:15-29. We took over 40 minutes to address various things that came up. These meetings always take into consideration who is in the room, and are prayed over that God leads the direction and flow. Certainly more could be said on this topic, but this is what we have. On this same night, after finishing the Sermon on the Mount, we switched gears, and began Romans from chapter 1, verse 1. Lord bless you!
