Walking According to the Spirit is not Optional

    December 24, 2017 /

Anyone who is born again has been given a new faculty whereby he/she may know God, hear His voice from within, be led and empowered by Him, and it is essential this, your spirit, be catered to. This made-alive spirit, united as one with Jesus Christ’s Spirit, is who God addresses when He gives commands, instructions, comforts, and all communications from the Bible. God is dealing with us as new creatures, and to cultivate this reality from Day One of coming to Christ is God’s will, and there is no life outside of it. Eph 2:1-6 – And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2…

Why the Epistle to the Hebrews is Relevant Today

    December 23, 2017 /

Here’s a study of the Epistle to the Hebrews, first two chapters, and it is full of lessons for Christians today. The author is unknown, some believe it was the Apostle Paul, others argue against that, but more important is God’s Spirit inspired its writing. As usual, this lesson is full of side tangents. While people who celebrate Christmas are thinking of Jesus, one thing said is God sent His Son that we might know Him, and celebrate Him always. Happy are those who can do that truly.

Do we want God’s mission, or man’s tradition? – audio teaching

    November 5, 2017 /

It’s no secret that Christianity has divided into thousands of sub-divisions, or denominations that in the extreme claim things that are the polar opposite of what the Word of God teaches. God, who is the same as ever, and who has not changed His mind on the reason why He sent Jesus Christ, would still bring us to know “the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” (Jude 1:3) This is not saying we are the authority, but that God is the authority. He is the one who can lead us in. Our calling is to seek Him in prayer, and be obedient, and trust and have…

How God tests our hearts and teaches those who will hear Him – audio

    November 4, 2017 /

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the restoration of a broken relationship between God and His creation. He is vetting for who will hear Him; who really wants Him. He who loves us wants us, but we as humans prove whether we really want Him. He has committed to meet us more than half way, and is the power behind doing all He asks of us, but whether we really have faith is shown by how it all works out. This Bible study centered on 1 Cor. 1:18 through all of 1 Cor. 2 goes into this and much more, pulling many supporting scriptures in. It delves into the biblical…

The Church that Jesus Would Build – Aug. 6, 2017

    August 6, 2017 /

Here is the recordings and notes from an overview of the church. Not said in the recording is this is a counterpoint to all the various people out there negating the importance of the body of Christ. Some people have said they want a personal relationship with God, but don’t see the importance of the body. Others go so far as to say it is not necessary in a Christian life. The scriptures do not teach these or other ways of looking at things that minimize or negate the vital importance of a church led and empowered by the Lord by His Spirit. Much more could be said, but the…
