Jesus Christ’s heart for His Bride – Ephesians 1,2 – audio

    September 22, 2018 /

There are innumerable representations of what Christianity is, but God says there is one faith. When the ‘weakness’ of God is stronger than men – 1 Corinthians 1-2 – Audio

    August 17, 2018 /

Christians would be well served to glean the fullness of what the Apostle Paul is saying in 1 Corinthians 1-2. Included in this is God is filtering for who really wants Him by a “foolish” message preached that is wiser than humans, and weakness that is stronger. Paul demonstrated the power of God’s Spirit, and His example is for us to learn from and believe God for. May the Lord bless you!

What do you really know? – audio sermon

    August 5, 2018 /

The Bible is replete with the understanding that true knowledge of the things of God must be shown by God Himself. This work is done by the Holy Spirit who inspired the scriptures and who must open one’s eyes to the accurate portrayal of the scripture’s meaning. In 1 Corinthians 3, the apostle Paul points out that even Christians performing works of the Spirit (the spiritual gifts) can yet be “carnal.” Carnal simply means they are operating from the fleshly side of their makeup, and the Bible teaches we have a “flesh” (the carnal identity) in opposition to a “spirit” (united with Christ (1 Cor. 6:17). Paul the called apostle and the power of God – Acts 19 – audio

    August 3, 2018 /

In our continuation of the commentary on the Book of Acts, we do an overlap on Acts 19. Acts was written by Luke who also wrote the gospel named for him. By chapter 19 the narrative focuses largely on Paul’s missionary journeys. It is a precious book full of details one may glean for details of how they looked at the Christian faith – called the Way – and evidence of the Holy Spirit’s working through mere average people. May the Lord bless you!
