Faith That God Prizes – Sunday May 14, 2017 – Audio
Although this recording took place on Mother’s Day, it focused on a topic that is of importance year-round to our Father – Our Father in heaven, that is. This topic is faith, which is needed to activate the blessings of the gospel, which in turn is the power of God unto salvation. Bible Study: 1 Corinthians 1:1-2 – Audio
This is a recording from a Bible study Friday May 12, 2017 on lessons learned from the first two chapters of First Corinthians. Far from being an irrelevant old letter to people far removed in time and culture, this epistle written somewhere in the mid 50s A.D. is extremely applicable to us today. Mt 24:35 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass…

How can I really know what the Bible teaches?
Is your church “Bible based?” It is not uncommon to hear a person offer an enthusiastic invitation that goes something like: “Our church only teaches what the Bible teaches,” or, “Our pastor is terrific, he teaches straight from the Bible!” This sounds good, and in so far as the Bible is taught under the direction and power of God’s Holy Spirit, it is. The sad fact is this sentiment is repeated by people from assemblies which disagree between one another on what the Bible specifically means on various matters. In many cases, serious matters. More do agree on the fundamentals, but the details are like spices that season the soup,…
