Occupational Hazards of Being a Christian Today

    August 1, 2015 /

Christians in the western world may not have much risk of death by martyrdom, but they do risk eternal death by their own ignorance. A calling to true Christians to come out from worldliness, and be holy

    January 1, 2015 /

Who is my God? He is the God of the Christians. His Son is named Jesus Christ. All who fear Him should bow down before Him. Jesus is the firstborn of many brethren. He is the alpha and the omega. He is love, and He is a sharp sword. By Him the worlds were made, and this earth, and the seas, and all that are in them. The faith of Jesus Christ was called The Way. It is truly the one way, but sadly it has been subverted – that is, schisms and factions and denominations have risen up contrary to the Spirit that founded it; the Spirit who gave…

How can I really know what the Bible teaches?

    December 14, 2014 /

Is your church “Bible based?” It is not uncommon to hear a person offer an enthusiastic invitation that goes something like: “Our church only teaches what the Bible teaches,” or, “Our pastor is terrific, he teaches straight from the Bible!” This sounds good, and in so far as the Bible is taught under the direction and power of God’s Holy Spirit, it is. The sad fact is this sentiment is repeated by people from assemblies which disagree between one another on what the Bible specifically means on various matters. In many cases, serious matters. More do agree on the fundamentals, but the details are like spices that season the soup,…

    How Christians May Pray Deeper

    November 29, 2014 /

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:19 God is love, and He loves you. Whether you are His disciple in Christ, or not, He listens and weighs the thoughts and intents of the heart of every person (Acts 10). The following however are bedrock principles, and this is primarily a message to Christians … To His followers, both Jesus and the apostles after Him said prayer is pivotal. Growth in God and therefore learning to keep to His will means praying, and we who are born again may do so on a certain basis.
