The witness and testimony Jesus asked of His followers as the best proof of God on earth
November 10, 2019 /Christians who share their faith with others rightly give testimony of Jesus Christ and God’s truths, but the Lord also asked them for a testimony in their own right. To get this, instead of Christian soul winners selling sinners a message catering to their self interests (and the gospel is not really for sale), they needed to prepare them to die to self, and take up Christ’s interests. Jesus said life and death significance hinged on it, and if they obeyed Him implicitly, they could expect to create the best proof of God there is – lives transformed by amazing proportions. This would speak volumes more than words alone.

Christians are to be the citizens of heaven on earth
October 27, 2019 /Christians may be residents of any nation of this world, but their first allegiance and identity is they are the eternal citizens of heaven on earth. This is the express will of God, as written all over the place in the New Testament. It is the entire thrust of what God and the first apostles wanted to see accomplished. Jesus Christ gave His life in the hope that those who truly love Him would recognize it, go through a series of healthy godly responses, and choose to give their lives in return. Here is an overview of some of these points. More could be said. May the Lord bless you.

What is a religious fleshly Christian?
October 20, 2019 /A “religious fleshly Christian” is one whose faith is largely held within their earthly minds, not their spirits. The religious flesh is defined as when the natural mind apart from Jesus’ Spirit is in control, and has the preeminence. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind … Col 2:18 In reality the spirit and mind are integrated into a person, but the Bible plainly distinguishes between “carnal” or “fleshly” believers, and – sadly – such ones are prevalent today, though they may not know…

Who is permitted to be a Christian?
October 13, 2019 /Christianity is God’s perfect solution to all that is wrong with humankind. It is free, but not cheap, and Jesus said many will presume they are right with God, but are not. This message talks about God’s standards, and conditions Jesus Himself laid down for who can be His disciple. Message outline notes: The Standard • Christianity is God’s solution to sin, the effects of the fall of man, and all that is wrong with human lives. • It is to be a work between God and man – a life covenant; life for life. • It is first about Jesus. • One ought to see Jesus. Recognize He is…

An end-of-the-age report card on church history
March 13, 2019 /The history of the Christian faith for the past 1900 years has been one in which those who named Christ utterly failed to keep Jesus Christ’s two highest injunctions. Since the last apostle John died around 100 AD, all sorts of deeds – good and bad – have been done in the name of Christ but this report is in light of the pure vision Jesus and the apostles expressed in the New Testament. Two Injunctions; Two Proofs of God The Lord said it was a command that His followers would be 1) known for an unearthly and truly God-like love, and 2) His will they remain united in doctrine,…
