How misuse of the terms “growth” and “process” with Romans 6 can defraud the sheep – audio

    April 7, 2017 /

The Bible does speak about growth in grace and there is a process of growing toward maturity, but these words improperly used can also be something for the flesh to hide behind. This article outlines details relayed also in a Bible study of Romans 6 done Friday April 15. Recording one is on Rom 6:1-12. Unfortunately, the recorder’s data card was nearly full, and only about 37-and-a-half minutes were recorded, but the meat of the message is intact. A subsequent study (with card cleared to make space) is a back and forth open discussion after the Romans 6 lesson. It opens with a very young-in-the-Lord Christian expressing that he did…

What is Possible: The Church and Prayer: Sunday April 2, 2017 – Audio

    April 2, 2017 /

This is a recording of a house church message on the big picture and where the sheep fit in. Much could be said, but this much came out while trusting the Holy Spirit for the unction. In discussion is the state of Christianity today in light of what Jesus and the first apostles said. In amongst things said is the “natural man” (AKA “old man” in Adam, or “carnal man”) has capacity and often does presume to try to serve God. This is religious flesh. Mention is made of church history and how this tendency has divided those who named the name of Christ up to this day. It mentions…

Subjecting One’s Spiritual Leading to the Light

    March 25, 2017 /

Do you hear from God? The scriptures in John 10 do indeed say “My sheep hear my voice,” so this is a promise, but we must all take care. The only 100-percent validated words of God we have are the inspired scriptures. These were written by “holy men of old” under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. While they have been under attack for the last 2,000 years since the Lord Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, what has been passed along has been vetted. Jesus even said His words were eternal. Mt 24:35 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass…

Christ’s Only Way: The Local Church

    March 23, 2017 /

Pay attention: Your Christian life depends on grasping what this message says. If we ever hope to let God do all He wants to do in us, and be conformed truly to the image of Jesus Christ in our lifetimes, it is vital we see His model of the local church. Do you want that Christian? It is the will of God for us! We need to see it, and desire to fit into Christ’s local body that His Spirit adds us to, and see the priority of this reality of “body life” far above modern vague notions of a universal body composed of all believers everywhere. Although there is…
