The Will of God
All human beings are hard-wired to have needs fulfilled in order to live in a state of comfort. Christians in particular are those called to have faith, see God’s hand, and believe Him in the context of their lives. They too need a form of “comfort” (or at least sense of purpose, etc.) in the context of their spiritual lives. The Bible says the highest purpose of the Gospel is that all glory goes to God. Healing in a Christian world of disarray
Man was made to live in God’s presence, in the Garden of Eden, and ever since Adam and Eve were ejected, independently minded and fallen mankind has been trying to make do. The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus – Audio
A foundational topic of a normal Christian life, the “law of the spirit” is something everyone should know. Like the lilies of the field that just grow, the law is a spontaneous phenomenon experienced by those rightly abiding in Christ, in faith, and this overcomes the “law of sin” (or the sin nature). The apostle Paul spoke of this in Rom 7 and 8 (copied in below). In Rom 8, he uses the term “law” in three different applications and this can be confusing to some. Colored in words help call out the different uses of the word “law” and this handout was given with this house church sermon. May…

How Hebrews 3-4 Speaks Relevantly to Christians Today
Here we have a continuation of a life-application study of Hebrews, focusing on chapters 3 and 4. God calls us to endure in the faith, enter His rest, know the love of God, obey Him and live in the rarified air of life in Him! SEE ALSO: Why the Epistle to the Hebrews is Relevant Today The Hebrew Christians in the first century were in danger of drifting away. They were either backslidden or threatened by persecution and in danger of recanting their faith. Our first safety is to be kept by the power of God, and hide ourselves in Him. This is a powerful spiritual reality, the narrow way,…
