What is a religious fleshly Christian?
A “religious fleshly Christian” is one whose faith is largely held within their earthly minds, not their spirits. The religious flesh is defined as when the natural mind apart from Jesus’ Spirit is in control, and has the preeminence. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ – sermon audio
Modern Evangelicalism and related American-born versions of the Christian faith have been said to have simplified the formula of becoming a Christian, but the New Testament tells a different story. The Lord Jesus Christ and His chosen apostles wanted disciples who would represent the kingdom of God in Spirit and truth.
