What is the full meaning and purpose of God’s grace?

The concept of grace is central to Christianity, and is invoked often. It was the battle cry of the Protestant Reformers in the 1500s that first set in motion a line of thinking and understanding that has affected billions who have taken the name of “Christian.”

Ironically, while grace is a gift of God often used to justify privileges claimed by Christians, it may also be the most abused to justify ideas and behaviors and ways God never intended.
