December 2, 2018 /Modern Evangelicalism and related American-born versions of the Christian faith have been said to have simplified the formula of becoming a Christian, but the New Testament tells a different story. The Lord Jesus Christ and His chosen apostles wanted disciples who would represent the kingdom of God in Spirit and truth. In the course of His teaching, Jesus laid down several conditions to being a true Christian. A Christians is by extension a “disciple” and it is a life covenant.
