Unmasking the flesh and evil spirits of false religion in pseudo ‘Christianity’

You must die to self in order to live in Christ!

    October 31, 2017 /

There is one over-riding motive that stands to pollute a Christian’s walk and keep him or her from entering into the fullness of God’s rest and empowerment, and that is serving self above Jesus Christ. All who are born of Adam’s race naturally attend to their own interests, but born anew, a Christian is supposed to be broken from that as his or her core motivation, and seek first God’s glory, and obedience to the Lord. How people may dance around this fact, and reinterpret the doings of their lives betrays what yet motivates them, but a tree is known by its fruits. That is, our results prove who we…

    A Study of Galatians 5 & 6 and More

    October 28, 2017 /

We finish up our study of Galatians in the way in which we’ve studied the chapter all along – by going on tangents as needed. In this audio are many insights into the real Christian life (some have called it the “normal,” or “deeper” life, but we’ll just say the real life which is one solely dedicated to God). Both Galatians 5 and Romans 8 use the term “walk in the Spirit” and much is expounded upon this in the audio (split into two halves), as well as all sorts of other things pertaining to the Gospel. This recording has something for everyone – those not yet Christians, and those…

Why Galatians 4 and 5 Matter Today – Audio

    October 21, 2017 /

In a continuation of our discussion of the Epistle to the Galatians, we discuss the Christian life with the backdrop of Gal. 4 and 5. Why Jesus came to save sinful humans

    October 17, 2017 /

In 1904 a 26-year-old Christian man named Evan Roberts was used by God to bring a revival to the country of Wales that sent shockwaves around the world. Since the age of 13 Roberts had prayed, and so for half his life he’d sought earnestly for more of God. God’s will was chief among his desires. He did not seek glory for himself, or chase girls, or any of the many distractions of his day. He saw the eternal perspective. Yielded to God as he was, Roberts prayed in the now legendary Welsh revival that witnessed people turning to God upon the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In the process,…

Root Issues of the ‘Flesh’ For Christians – Sermon Audio

    October 16, 2017 /

The New Testament says Christians have a dual nature – “flesh” and spirit.” Romans 6:6 says that flesh, or the “old man” has been crucified with Christ. … knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. The mystery of godliness is great, and the just are called to believe with their will by way of the “new man” made alive (Eph. 2) in Christ. The experience of overcoming the flesh is most succinctly spoken in Rom. 8:2 of as a higher “law of the Spirit” of God that overcomes…

Matthew 11 - 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
