What is ‘Justification by Faith?’ – Sermon Audio
March 1, 2020 /Christians base their lives on the teaching the apostle Paul explained called “justification by faith.” This vital truth was brought to the forefront in 1517 by Martin Luther and the Reformers and has imprinted itself into the spiritual DNA of millions, even billions, since then to this day. While justification – being made acceptable to God – is truly by faith, the whole meaning of what Paul was saying has been lost on some. Teachings arising from early understandings have permitted people to turn a blind eye to worldliness, willfully sinful lifestyles, and basically, not accomplishing what justification by faith is supposed to accomplish – fruit of the Spirit and…

Why Christians need to really understand Paul – audio sermon
February 16, 2020 /People have said lots about what it means to be a Christian and had much also to say from the words of Paul. His writings have been used to allow for lax liberal attitudes toward sin, and on the other hand, people who are legalistic have also misunderstood him. Others have branded him a false teacher but that is wrong too. This sermon talks about these and offers a reconciliation between grace and law – and the purpose Paul was really driving at, which was to become like Jesus.

Christianity is to be dependent on God and ‘taught by God’ – audio sermon
February 9, 2020 /The goal of the gospel is to follow in Jesus’ footsteps. He was utterly dependant upon the Father and showed what is possible for a man filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said also we as His sheep are to be dependent upon Him and He in grace will teach us. This is to create a holy dynamic of being to God’s glory.

Christians have nothing more important to do than become like Jesus – audio sermon
February 2, 2020 /If you ever wondered what God wants from you, He has already stated it for all times. Our first priority is not to live in the strength of our own abilities and desires of our mind and emotions. Our first priority is not to be little different than the rest of the people of the world with the exception that we have carved out a certain percentage of our time to Jesus Christ. Our first priority is not to feather our nest, pursue our goals and dreams and live with our own welfare primarily in mind. So what is our first goal? To become like Jesus.
