Why do Christians live?
We who name the name of Christ do so for God’s good pleasure. Many people emphasize aspects of the whole truth, but the Word of God covers many things important to God that fall under the overarching dictate of surrender to His will. That is, God’s creation – man and the fallen angels – have rebelled, become independent in their minds and thoughts, and redemption is a restoration of man to obedience. God Wants Us To Know Immanuel Every Day
One of the names for Jesus Christ is Immanuel and it is most precious – the gift God gives to all who have eyes that can see, and ears that can hear, and a heart that can believe and obey. Matthew 1:23 – Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Today is Christmas, and it’s old news that it’s not really Jesus’ birthday, but God who sees the heart is more concerned with how people regard His Son, and whether they receive Him as their own Immanuel.

Why the Epistle to the Hebrews is Relevant Today
Here’s a study of the Epistle to the Hebrews, first two chapters, and it is full of lessons for Christians today. The author is unknown, some believe it was the Apostle Paul, others argue against that, but more important is God’s Spirit inspired its writing. As usual, this lesson is full of side tangents. While people who celebrate Christmas are thinking of Jesus, one thing said is God sent His Son that we might know Him, and celebrate Him always. Happy are those who can do that truly.
