When Adam tries to practice the faith of Christ – Audio

This stands to be an eye-opening message as it’s a commentary on the faith since the beginning in light of what the apostles of Christ sought to establish. It’s also…

Many Christians prove they do not know Jesus’ voice – audio sermon

Many Christians prove they do not know Jesus’ voice. Sorry if that sounds harsh, or arrogant. It is really said in sadness, and ultimately its truth is self evident. John…

What is the full meaning and purpose of God’s grace?

    December 1, 2019 /

The concept of grace is central to Christianity, and is invoked often. It was the battle cry of the Protestant Reformers in the 1500s that first set in motion a line of thinking and understanding that has affected billions who have taken the name of “Christian.” Ironically, while grace is a gift of God often used to justify privileges claimed by Christians, it may also be the most abused to justify ideas and behaviors and ways God never intended. This audio sermon – one hour and 18 minutes long – delves into a fuller meaning and purpose of God’s grace. It is not a Bible study, but keeps its eye…

What Jesus Christ wants to accomplish with the Gospel – audio sermon

    November 24, 2019 /

What Jesus Christ wants to accomplish with the Gospel is written plainly in the New Testament, but revealed only in full and accurately by the Holy Spirit. The gospel is a whole lot more than the Great Commission to save sinners. This is a vital part, to be sure, but it is part of the greater whole of God’s eternal purpose. Life and death depend on His people embracing the totality of what God is asking by the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. God is well able to accomplish His will, but He has always required people who will obey Him completely. Lord bless you.

The Christian’s incredible capacity to accept false assurance

    November 21, 2019 /

In light of what the New Testament says, so many Christians fall woefully short of God’s will for them, yet may think all is fine. It is possible for a Christian to think that all is well when nothing is as it should be. It is possible to be so sure that one will correct or call out other Christians they perceive are in sin or error, and yet they themselves are blind to many errors, or sins, or hold lies as truth mixed in with their overall understanding of the faith. The proof of these statements come from Jesus Christ. He said test by fruit. We are told to…

Do you really love Jesus Christ? – Sermon audio

    November 17, 2019 /

Jesus said a Christian’s love is proven by our responses to what He says. In America, the gospel is taught in more flavors than Baskin Robbins ice cream. Many are taught a level of “love” more in line with what the Protestant Reformers set the stage to allow for – or what modern society allows for – rather than what the New Testament fully teaches. The quality and measure of a Christian’s love for God is found out by the true test which is described in the New Testament. This audio (divided into two parts) talks about this for anyone who wants all of God. Lord bless you.

The witness and testimony Jesus asked of His followers as the best proof of God on earth

    November 10, 2019 /

Christians who share their faith with others rightly give testimony of Jesus Christ and God’s truths, but the Lord also asked them for a testimony in their own right. To get this, instead of Christian soul winners selling sinners a message catering to their self interests (and the gospel is not really for sale), they needed to prepare them to die to self, and take up Christ’s interests. Jesus said life and death significance hinged on it, and if they obeyed Him implicitly, they could expect to create the best proof of God there is – lives transformed by amazing proportions. This would speak volumes more than words alone.

Matthew 11 - 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
