Justification (and peace and acceptance) by faith – audio sermon
The Bible teaches that Christians are “justified by faith” just as was the first Jewish patriarch, Abraham. Before the law of Moses was written, God declared Abraham righteous for his faith (and resultant obedience) and made a promise of acceptance and blessings to him in which Christians under the New Covenant enter into by faith as well. The Christian life is to be a delicate balance of conditions of heart. The church of Jesus Christ and His will for us all – audio
This started as a study of Ephesians 3, but became more about the church and what God wants – a bride read for Himself and individuals who know Christ in them! Things got off to a slow start with several interruptions in the first half hour but the cadence gets better and more productive although random discussion ensues. Discussions of the Spirit-led life called for a variety of scriptural references and lively talk. Lord bless you!

God’s sense of urgency
The Bible says God sent Jesus Christ as the way to God and how many of God’s people have heard this but not let it sufficiently move them? In 2015 the Centers for Disease Control reported U.S. deaths at 2,712,630 million – 86,212 more than in 2014 – and this works out to an average 7,462 U.S. residents died per day, every day in 2015. How many of them died without Jesus? How many of them had heard the name “Jesus Christ” and had heard “Jesus saves,” but the words, though they passed through their minds, never sunk in with saving faith?
